The son of St. Louis County Executive Charlie Dooley is jailed on $100,000 bond, suspected of robbing 18 gas stations. Authorities say 37-year-old Phillip Goodwin of University City was charged Thursday with two counts of second-degree robbery.

St. Louis County Police took over security detail in Ferguson earlier this month but is it coming at a cost of safety in other parts of the county? Drivers in parts of St. Louis County may have noticed fewer officers on the roads and News4 learning St. Louis County Police have issued only a fraction of traffic tickets in the last few months compared to years past. A spokesperson for the department said officers with the department's Highway Safety Unit specifically charged with issuing traffic tickets are often the first to be deployed to Ferguson.

The attorney for the family of slain Ferguson, Missouri, teenager Michael Brown called again Monday for an indictment of the police officer who fired the fatal shots. Attorney Daryl Parks said information in a Friday New York Times story that related what's said to be Darren Wilson's version of what happened shouldn't preclude Wilson's prosecution for the unarmed teen's August 9 death.

CLAYTON, Mo Protesters mistook a corrections officer for a police officer and confronted her in a Clayton parking garage, according to the St. Louis County Executive's office. The incident happened October 9 inside the Shaw Park Drive garage near the St. Louis County Justice Center while the officer was on her lunch break.
