We've had hands-on with PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale here at IGN, but we're already left wanting more after Sony and developer SuperBot Entertainment only revealed six characters. But if Internet sleuths on gaming forum NeoGAF are correct, a seventh character may have been prematurely revealed.
NeoGAF user Arukado posted the image below in an expansive thread covering PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. The left side of the image is a still taken from the initial leak of the game from back in November. One of the images from the original source of the leak -- The Paul Gale Network -- shows the monitor in question. The right side consists of some art from the PlayStation 2 game ICO, which debuted in late 2001.

As you can see, the artist's monitor has several perspectives of a female figure and what appears to be art from ICO tucked away on the right side of the screen. Of course, whether or not the character being worked on is Ico's female companion Yorda remains to be seen. It's all conjecture for the time being. But why would that image be open on the artist's monitor if not for a little... well...inspiration?
For now, file ICO's Yorda under the "rumored character" file with some rather tantalizing evidence supporting her inclusion. However, keep in mind that SuperBot Entertainment could be looking for general inspiration on an ICO-related stage or something entirely unrelated, or this could be something that was looked into or scrapped.
In any case, judge for yourself what to make of this and then let loose in the comments below, letting us know what characters you hope Sony reveals from PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale's roster (and feel free to check out our own dream roster).
